Skyscraper construction lasted from 2004 to 2010. At the construction site every day involved more than 12,000 workers who were building 1-2 stories per week. Especially for the hot weather of the UAE was developed a special type of concrete that could withstand a temperature of +50°C. However, the solution is put only at night and added him to the ice. The cost of construction amounted to $ 1.5 billion.

Interestingly, the building is glazed with special glasses that repel the sun's rays and do not absorb dust. However, the Windows are washed daily. The building has a special climate with its own flavor that is created through special membranes.
