As reported kodeks.ru the Resolution of the Russian Federation Government dated 21.10.2016 N 1084 installed a new procedure for the Federal state supervision in the field of geodesy and cartography.
In particular, the state geodetic supervision is carried out:
- for compliance with the Russian Federation legislation requirements for execution of geodetic and cartographic works and their results, including compliance with the legislation of the Russian Federation of requirements for geodetic networks, including networks with differential geodetic stations;
- for compliance with the legislation of the Russian Federation of requirements to ensure the safety of the points of the state geodetic network, state levelling network and the state gravimetric network, as well as points and geodetic networks, including a network of differential geodetic stations;
- for displaying the state border of the Russian Federation and the territory of the Russian Federation, constituent territories of the Russian Federation and territories of municipal formations on maps (excluding nautical charts), plans, officially published atlases in graphic, photographic and other forms, including in electronic form;
for compliance with the legislation of the Russian Federation on names of geographical objects, rules of use of names of geographical objects in documents, maps and other publications, road and other signs;
- the observance of the procedure for establishing local coordinate systems.
