In the framework of the IX International IT Forum in Khanty-Mansiysk there was held a round table on the theme: "Geographic information system – as part of the digital economy". The round table was held in the CEC "Ugra-Expo", Khanty-Mansiysk, 7 June 2017.
The round table took an active part, the General Director of JSC "Uralgeoinform" Anashkin Pavel. The moderator of the round table was Dudkina Y. – project Director of the PJSC "Rostelecom".
The main topics for discussion at the round table were:
- Spatial data infrastructure of the Russian Federation (SDI Russian Federation).
- The provision of spatial data: is it sufficient to use only domestic data in sectors of national economy of the Russian Federation? The use of UAVs for obtaining spatial data: whether to wait for a breakthrough?
- Domestic methods and software tools processing and analysis of spatial data.
At the roundtable, presentations were made by:

5. "Meeting the challenges of remote monitoring using the data of Russian spacecraft"
- Hamidov Vladimir – head of the center for remote sensing of the Earth "Ugra research Institute of information technologies".
6. "Intelligent air monitoring infrastructure the energy industry".
