Roscartography and its subsidiaries have completed the entire volume of geodetic works planned for 2021, including linking sections of the Main High-altitude Base (HVO) of the Crimean Peninsula to the main network of Russia and updating the high-altitude network in the Sverdlovsk Region, the Komi Republic, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug (AO). In total, in 2021, high-precision leveling of Class I was carried out on sections with a total length of 439.2 km. Specialists of Roskartografiya have started preparing for the new field season of 2022.
Accounting documents on the completed works were sent to the customer - Rosreestr. So, in 2021, one of the key tasks of geodetic works was the creation of three new points of the fundamental astronomical and geodetic network (FAGS) necessary to expand the introduction of domestic satellite navigation technologies and services using the GLONASS system, as well as the dissemination of the 2011 state geodetic coordinate system (GSK-2011) on the territory of Russia and the effective use of the GLONASS system in the geodetic and navigation support system of Russia. New points are functioning in the villages of Olenek and Chokurdy (Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)) and Pevek (Chukotka Autonomous Okrug. And in terms of improving the accuracy of determining coordinates on the territory of the Russian Federation, 18 FAGS points have been created for use as part of the Federal Network of Geodetic Stations.
In addition, specialists within the framework of the development of the state geodetic network in Russia carried out work on the creation of network fragments consisting of 12 points of a high-precision geodetic network (HCV) and 216 points of a satellite geodetic network of Class 1 (CGS-1).
All work on the modernization of the Main High-altitude base (HVO) of Russia is carried out to update the heights along the previously measured leveling lines. During the work in 2021, the heights were updated, coordinates were determined, the description of the location of points was updated and the density of points was restored along leveling routes.
The specialists of Roskartography also performed work on maintaining the metrological readiness of three reference test sites - Pyatigorsk, Samara, Krasnoyarsk, necessary for the implementation of metrological support of geospatial data of a complex space system for obtaining and updating geospatial data based on the integration of navigation satellite systems with space means of high-detail optoelectronic and radar surveillance.
In total, in 2021, Roscartography and its subsidiaries carried out work on preparing lines for measurements with a total length of 2.7 thousand km of the GVO of Russia. Thus, since 2012, Roscartography has carried out work on optimization and modernization of the GVO of Russia by more than 15 thousand km. As part of the creation of fragments of the network of points of the state geodetic network of Russia on the territory of the Russian Federation for 2021, 76 FAGS points, 388 HCV points and 5860 CGS-1 points were created. Of these, since 2012, when Roscartography was formed, 32 FAGS points, 76 HCV points and 1865 GHS-1 points have been created. As part of the monitoring of the characteristics of the GGS points, 10008 points were surveyed, of which 6012 points carried out work to restore the external design. As part of the modernization of geodynamic polygons of Rosreestr, 6 points of the deformation network of the Crimean geodynamic polygon have been created.
Also, Roscartography and its subsidiaries carried out work on the creation of digital navigation maps in 2021. 1:25 000, 1:50 000, 1:100 000 on the territories of 14 subjects of the Russian Federation. The work was carried out to develop a highly efficient system of cartographic support for Russia, satellite positioning methods and technologies, and the introduction of the Global Navigation Satellite System GLONASS in all spheres of the economy of our country.
To implement the tasks set, a complex of works was carried out on the creation of state digital topographic maps, the creation of state digital topographic maps of open use and the creation of state open digital navigation maps using spatial data (federal, departmental, regional), as well as using information from the unified electronic cartographic framework (UECO) created as part of the implementation of the national project "Digital Economy", materials of remote sensing of the Earth or aerial photography.
Specialists of Roskartography and subsidiaries carried out work in the following territories: the Republic of Mari El, Primorsky Krai, Volgograd, Voronezh, Nizhny Novgorod, Penza, Samara, Tambov, Rostov and Ulyanovsk regions, the Republic of Adygea, the Republic of Dagestan, Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories.
In addition, in 2021, work was carried out using the EEC to create digital state topographic plans on a scale of 1:2,000 on the territory of cities and digital state topographic plans for open use for inclusion in the EEC. The works were carried out on the territories of the following cities: Astrakhan, Birobidzhan, Voronezh, Yoshkar-Ola, Makhachkala, Orenburg, Penza, Ulan-Ude, Ulyanovsk, Khabarovsk, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.
Another project implemented by Roskartography specialists in 2021 using the EECO was the creation of state digital topographic maps and digital topographic maps of open use on a scale of 1:25,000 of the Republic of Mari El, Primorsky Krai, Amur, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Penza, Tambov and Ulyanovsk regions.
