Roscartography update navigation maps of Russian regions

Roskartografiya and its subsidiaries have started work on the creation of digital navigation maps of the scale 1:25 000, 1:50 000, 1:100 000 on the territories of 21 subjects of the Russian Federation. This is necessary for the development of a highly efficient cartographic support system for Russia, satellite positioning methods and technologies, and the introduction of the GLONASS Global Navigation Satellite System in all spheres of our country's economy.

To implement the tasks set, a set of works will be carried out to create state digital topographic maps, state digital topographic maps of open use and state open digital navigation maps using aerial photography materials, spatial data (federal, departmental, regional), as well as using the information of the unified electronic cartographic framework (UECO) created as part of the implementation of the national project "Digital Economy".

Specialists of Roskartography and subsidiaries will perform work in the following territories: the Republics of Adygea, Mordovia, Tatarstan, the Chuvash Republic, Krasnodar Krai, Stavropol Krai, Voronezh, Vladimir, Irkutsk, Kostroma, Kursk, Lipetsk, Moscow, Oryol, Penza, Rostov, Ryazan, Tambov, Tula, Ulyanovsk, Yaroslavl regions.

In addition, work will be carried out on updating digital city plans and creating digital plans of open-use cities on a scale of 1:10,000 for inclusion in the EEC. The work will be carried out on the territory of 390 cities in 72 constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

Another project to maintain and develop a highly efficient system of cartographic support for the territory of Russia is the creation of state digital topographic maps and digital topographic maps of open use scale 1:25,000 in the following territories: the Republics of Dagestan, Mari-El, Mordovia, Tatarstan, the Chuvash Republic, Krasnodar, Stavropol Krai, Vladimir, Irkutsk, Kursk, Nizhny Novgorod, Oryol, Penza, Rostov, Ryazan regions.
