Russia and China have achieved significant progress in the area of synchronisation of the Russian navigation system GLONASS and the Chinese BeiDou, said the General Director of state Corporation "Roscosmos" Igor Komarov.

"We have made considerable progress in cooperation on remote sensing (remote sensing), on the harmonization and synchronization of GLONASS and BeiDou. Contracts all signed, and work is underway. There are prospects, there is great interest from partners in different areas: engines, joint development of launch vehicles, manned space program, conducting experiments in low earth orbit," said Komarov in an interview to the newspaper "Kommersant".
