The procedure for licensing geodesic and cartographic activities

As reported kodeks.ru the Resolution of the Russian Federation Government dated 28.10.2016 N 1099 in accordance with paragraph 2 of article 21 of the Federal law "On geodesy, cartography and spatial data and on amendments to certain legislative acts of the Russian Federation" approved the Regulation on licensing of geodetic and cartographic activities.

The regulation determines the procedure for licensing geodesic and cartographic activities (excluding specified types of activities carried out by the personnel of the Armed Forces to ensure defence of the Russian Federation, as well as in the implementation of urban planning and cadastral activities, mining), which are the creation (update) of the state government topographic map or topographic maps, the state geodetic networks, the state levelling network and the state gravimetric networks geodetic networks for special purposes, including differential networks of geodetic stations, determination of parameters of the figure of the Earth and the gravitational field for these purposes, the establishment, modification and refinement of the state border of the Russian Federation, as well as the establishment and change of borders between subjects of the Russian Federation and municipal boundaries. Licensing of geodesic and cartographic activities carried out by Federal registration service and its territorial bodies.

As an Annex to the aforementioned Regulation, the approved List of works that make up the geodesic and cartographic activities subject to licensing, and is also required for performing professions or areas of training of employees of legal entity (individual entrepreneur) who has addressed in licensing body with the statement for granting of the license, or employees of a legal entity (individual entrepreneur), licensed.

The regulation determines license requirements and also specified the list of documents to be submitted for obtaining a license.
